The glam metal band Motley Crue was formed in LA in 1981. After initially recording two heavy metal albums, they pivoted to the newly emerging glam metal style. Known for their hedonistic and rowdy lifestyle, they sold over 100 million records worldwide. They attracted an international fan base and released their final studio album, Saints of Los Angeles, in 2008 and performed the final show on New Year’s Eve 2015.
