Yes is a British band that seemingly has been around forever. In the early 70s, they became one of the first progressive rock groups to gain worldwide attention. They toured regularly and developed a devoted following throughout the 70s before disbanding in 1981. Their line-up changed frequently, especially after they reunited in 1983 and adopted a more pop-oriented sound. Nineteen band members have performed under the name Yes and now there are two "Yes" groups fighting over the name. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2017.
