American rockabilly band The Stray Cats are from the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York, and the founding members were guitarist and vocalist Brian Setzer, double bass player Lee Rocker, and drummer Slim Jim Phantom. The Stray Cats had numerous hit singles which included "Rock This Town" and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame listed this song as one of the songs that shaped rock and roll.
